So I cross my heart and I hope to die

(I just remembered that I still haven't downloaded this song yet. Gotta go download the damn thing after this!)

So I have 10 more days before work starts, and yesterday I went shopping with my Mom. It was like my most fun and cray-cray shopping trip ever. It was raining like crazy the whole time but my Mom and I determinedly travelled the whole city and I got a lot of things. So this blog entry is basically just a haul post.

First of all, and I'm really excited for this, is another Lioele's Blooming Gloss

So if you checked out my September Favorites you knew how I love these lip glosses. Like I think they're the best lip glosses I've ever tried. And then the other day I watched Jen's September Favorites and she mentioned this particular lip gloss, so I thought I might give it a try. And ohhhh my God, it's easily the prettiest lip gloss I've own. It has amazing color payoff and just like other Lioele's lip glosses, it feels so good on the lips. I fell in love with it right away and this thing is never gonna leave my bag wherever I go!

Then, as usual, none of my shopping trip would feel complete without some accessories. And look at these cuties that I got!

I'm so happy that I got a mustache ring, which would go really well with my mustache necklace! If you can't tell I'm just having a mustache phase. I need to get myself a mustache shirt!

Speaking of shirt, I got these two shirts

Uh- yeah, it says Harvard Law, which is lame because I don't go to Harvard and don't study law.
But whatever! I like the style and the color!

I'm also going through a blazer phase and I got this red blazer because I've already got a black one and I wear that thing all the time

And then the most interesting part of my shopping yesterday, I went shoes shopping. I just got over a phase where I only wore high heels or high wedges, and now I'm craving for some flat shoes. Which is why I've been looking for a nice pair of Oxfords or ballet shoes, but I found none that I really liked and ended up getting these sandals

They are really comfy and I think they go well with a lot of things, so they'll do when I am too lazy to put on proper shoes that look better but are way more uncomfortable.

And last but not least, the spotlight of this haul! Drumroll please!!! Ta-daa

Yes, I know I've got way too many boots for someone living in this freaking weather, but God knows how long I've been looking for a pair of dark brown leather boots, and these are just perfect for me. I just knew I needed these boots when I saw them in the store. And I know I'm gonna be wearing them a lot!

Oh and there's a very cool story happened yesterday. When my Mom and I were taking these things out of the bags and arranging them, we found a pair of shoes that we didn't buy

At first we thought they gave us the wrong ones because my Mom bought a similar pair of wedges in smaller size and a slightly different color. But we checked and my Mom still had her shoes! The thing is we went to three stores of shoes yesterday and none of us even tried these on, so we don't know where they even come from! Then my baby sister tried them on and they fit, so my Mom just gave them to her. We sort of feel bad for having these shoes that we didn't pay for, but we don't even know which store to return them to. I guess we just got lucky once in a while!

Well apart from these babies I bought yesterday I also bought several things last week, like a new dress and two pairs of skinny jeans, but that's sort of long ago so I don't include them here.

Finally, I'm getting really excited and nervous at the same time because a big change is coming for me since I finished school and will start my internship on Oct 15th. I hope everything will turn out fine in the end!

September Favorites

As a result of watching too many beauty videos on Youtube, I have now decided to do Favorite of the Month entries on my blog, which basically is where I show what I have bought and used and loved during the previous month. Yay!

Firstly I'm gonna talk about make-up, because hello, this thing comes from the beauty gurus community on Youtube! Gotta show some respect, yeah?

So this month I've been loving this Lioele's Lip Color Stick. It's a berry pink color and it feels really good on the lips, moisturizing and stays on a fair amount of time as long as I don't eat. I love it so much sometimes I only put on foundation and this thing on the lips with nothing else!

Another Lioele's product that I bought a few months ago but still love to death is this Lioele's Blooming Gloss. It's a shimmery sheer pink lipgloss that smells and tastes so good! This lipgloss has been staying in whatever bag I carry around with me during the past month because I need it all the time! I'm pretty sure I've never loved a lipgloss as much as I love this product. And it's very affordable too. Do give it a try if you're looking for a nice lipgloss.

On nail polishes, my favorite this month is Essie's Armed and Ready, which is a deep grey green color with a gold shimmer. It looks really pretty on the nails and I'm wearing it on my nails right now.

Another nail thing is this topcoat by The Face Shop and I swear, this thing saved my life! It makes my painted nails dry in like five minutes, which saves me from a lot of frustration because of my nails being ruined when I have to do something after painting my nails. Love it!

Accessories wise, this month I reinvented my love for this tiara ring, which is a gift from one of my cousins long ago. And the bracelet is one of my birthday presents from Py, which looks so good when I wear it together with my watch!

Then my favorite purchase of the month has to be my Kindle! I love this thing to death!!! It's been stuck to my hands pretty much since I bought it and I'm so happy with it. Also I named it Jackson muahahaha~

My favorite book of September is The Fault in Our Stars by John Green.

I don't even know how to begin to explain what it's about and why I love it. Just, if you want to read it, prepare yourself to cry a lot while having your heart ripped out and thrown on the floor and stomped on over and over again. You can read my review of this book on Goodreads.

And finally, my favorite app of the month is this fucker right here

I think it's also available for Android, but I'm not sure. It's a tower defense game called Fieldrunners where you have to stop the enemy from entering your tower by killing them, one by one, some of them look and sound like little boys, but don't think too much about that...

My cousin introduced me to this game yesterday and I've been obsessed with it since! Like it's so addictive I cannot stop!!! If you have an iPhone or iPad check this out. It's really fun.

The good is never easy, the easy never good

My semester break has officially started! I've spent most of this week marathon everything from TV series to movies and oh God, words cannot describe this feelings. I should have blogged earlier, but Blogger has been a bitch recently and all I've got to say is that Google should get their shit together!

First thing first, I bought two pairs of shoes last week, which was kind of exciting because I haven't bought new shoes for a while. I went through a boots-phase from last Christmas to late Spring this year, so when my old sandal wedges worn out, I looked at my shoes shelf and realized I only have boots left to wear, which is not a good thing at all in this weather, super hot and humid in the middle of raining season. So I went shopping and got these two babies

Also I had a great time hanging out with my lovely pals before the break. People think I'm cold blooded and I probably am but I still love my homies and I won't kill them on a fishing trip as long as they keep me satisfied xD

You haven't rolled on vacation mood if you haven't got a mani-pedi, and that's what I did today. Now the only thing left to do is going to the salon because my hair needs to have a break too!

It doesn't look quite like it but this is actually a pastel nude pink color which is adorable

Oh and look! I found a Gameboy iPhone case! I saw a case like this in some Youtube video but it was for iPhone 4 and I wasn't sure I could find that around here either, but last week I went looking for some new cases because I haven't got new iPhone cases for a while, and I saw this!

So, that has been the going-on-smoothly-so-far beginning of my semester break. Until next time something interesting happens in my life xD

This maybe the last chance that I get to love you

Heeyyyy!!! Oh how I miss blogging :( But I've been neck deep in assignments because it's the last two weeks of the semester. Now that I've got like half of them done and out of the way (almost) I can breathe a little. (But actually not quite because the toughest project is still THERE!)

First thing first, I got an instant camera!!!

But of course not the old cool hippie polaroid thing. It looks like some kind of toys, I know. But I was still excited!

How the photos look like. I was actually surprised and a bit disappointed seeing how small they are

The fact is, this camera was purchased for the sake of my film making. My final project for Time Based Media needed this thing and we couldn't find anyone who has it to borrow. Talk about investment, guys. Also talk about how film making needs producers.

This is my crew preparing the set in the school studio before shooting. The preparation actually took more time than the shooting, as you can well guess. But damn, it was super fun! And pretty too.

We even invented our own card game with this thing! This is what happen when designers-to-be get bored...

And then the rest of the week I just spent in studio and library, editing the film and writing essay, nothing fancy

So I've got only two weeks left (the toughest weeks!!!) before semester break and I'll be traveling a bit, if everything goes according to plans xD I promise the next entry won't be about school as much okay xD
