The good is never easy, the easy never good

My semester break has officially started! I've spent most of this week marathon everything from TV series to movies and oh God, words cannot describe this feelings. I should have blogged earlier, but Blogger has been a bitch recently and all I've got to say is that Google should get their shit together!

First thing first, I bought two pairs of shoes last week, which was kind of exciting because I haven't bought new shoes for a while. I went through a boots-phase from last Christmas to late Spring this year, so when my old sandal wedges worn out, I looked at my shoes shelf and realized I only have boots left to wear, which is not a good thing at all in this weather, super hot and humid in the middle of raining season. So I went shopping and got these two babies

Also I had a great time hanging out with my lovely pals before the break. People think I'm cold blooded and I probably am but I still love my homies and I won't kill them on a fishing trip as long as they keep me satisfied xD

You haven't rolled on vacation mood if you haven't got a mani-pedi, and that's what I did today. Now the only thing left to do is going to the salon because my hair needs to have a break too!

It doesn't look quite like it but this is actually a pastel nude pink color which is adorable

Oh and look! I found a Gameboy iPhone case! I saw a case like this in some Youtube video but it was for iPhone 4 and I wasn't sure I could find that around here either, but last week I went looking for some new cases because I haven't got new iPhone cases for a while, and I saw this!

So, that has been the going-on-smoothly-so-far beginning of my semester break. Until next time something interesting happens in my life xD

This maybe the last chance that I get to love you

Heeyyyy!!! Oh how I miss blogging :( But I've been neck deep in assignments because it's the last two weeks of the semester. Now that I've got like half of them done and out of the way (almost) I can breathe a little. (But actually not quite because the toughest project is still THERE!)

First thing first, I got an instant camera!!!

But of course not the old cool hippie polaroid thing. It looks like some kind of toys, I know. But I was still excited!

The fact is, this camera was purchased for the sake of my film making. My final project for Time Based Media needed this thing and we couldn't find anyone who has it to borrow. Talk about investment, guys. Also talk about how film making needs producers.

This is my crew preparing the set in the school studio before shooting. The preparation actually took more time than the shooting, as you can well guess. But damn, it was super fun! And pretty too.

We even invented our own card game with this thing! This is what happen when designers-to-be get bored...

And then the rest of the week I just spent in studio and library, editing the film and writing essay, nothing fancy

So I've got only two weeks left (the toughest weeks!!!) before semester break and I'll be traveling a bit, if everything goes according to plans xD I promise the next entry won't be about school as much okay xD

I've just blogged two days ago, so you can just guess that this entry has nothing really interesting and/or important in it (as if my other entries did...) But I went to the flea market yesterday, which is a monthly event where people sell (a lot of) their handmade products. It was a-ma-zing! I've never been awed as much ever. They had all kind of stuffs from clothes to accessories to kitchen wares to scooters! If I could I would bring all of those things home because they were all absolutely adorable. So here comes my showcase of things I bought (which were a lot more expensive than I planned to pay)

This kiosk was amazing! I really considered buying all their stuffs because here, just look at what they had!!!

The venue where they held this flea market was packed with people. My friends and I were basically just trying to breath and not die in there. But it was worth it! And after that we went to the cinema

This week is week 9 of our semester and things are guaranteed to go all crazy from here. I have a deadline this weekend which I haven't done a bit, and another one next week. Also another film, a web test, one essay and one website layout due within the next three weeks. Talk to me about time management, won't ya?!

The rest of the entry would be a few pages of my journal, which is not my actual journal, but just another assessment for school, so I was pretty much role-playing in there...

Because I'm trying to keep myself sane, I thought I might as well blog something. Things have been pretty much a mess for me in a week or two, resulted in me having the most bitchy mood swing ever. So this evening I went out taking pictures and let loose my mind a little bit. It worked for now, since I'm feeling calmer and just, I feel like I need to believe in my motto for life. This too shall pass. Yes!

I haven't blogged in a while because something happened around two weeks ago and I was sad, so I only stayed home and watched TV and did nothing, or at least nothing interesting that should be mentioned here. But my school started this week and I've pretty much caught up with life again.

I actually had a trip to Da Lat right after my last blog entry but that was pretty much my worst trip ever so I really don't want to talk about it now. Except I bought a new hat which is not very usable in Saigon especially in this season, but well, I've made all kinds of bad decisions on this trip, buying a hat could be the least stupid one.

Also I think last time I forgot some very nice stuff among the things I bought in Hongkong. First of all this set of Kenzo perfume

I've wanted Kenzo perfume since forever but like, I don't use perfume very often so I don't want to invest much money on it. When I saw this set in a store in Hongkong with a sale up to 60% I knew I had to have it. And these bottles smell so good, I just tried one out today. It literally smells like flowers, so natural and fresh, not very heavily scented but lingers like you have a flower hidden in your pocket. I am totally in love!

It's actually a bunch of such gorgeous rings I would definitely buy each one of these separately. I'm really happy that I bought it, especially after I saw how well it went with my clothes and other accessories.

Finally, I went shopping the other day with my bestie and we got ourselves some very cute stuff, which made both of us very happy.

I bought a dark grey tank top with really thin white stripes to mix with another shirt I bought in Hongkong, and then I got this lovely floral laced top

You see, the thing about collecting a specific item of accessories is that at some point you'll find it very difficult to find a new piece of that item that you actually think is unique and cute. Just like how I've had too many owl necklaces that recently I couldn't find any new one to buy until this little baby. It was pretty much love at first sight and I was like, I must have it!

It's just perfect, everything I want and more!

It's soon to be weekend and I think this week has gone pretty well as far as I care. I'm still sad but I know I can't just spoil my own bad habit and annoy everyone else. It's gonna be better real soon. This too shall pass.
