So Tet holiday has technically ended, but my REAL vacation starts tomorrow!!! I'll be going to Hongkong for 3 days with my baby sister. I'll leave my laptop at home so I wouldn't be online in the next few days. This blog entry serves solely one purpose: to report my Tet holiday which is a very interesting part of my very interesting life, a part that I don't ever want to repeat but sadly just does every year.

Generally, it went better that I expected. Like, people around me were all very excited for Tet so I couldn't tell anyone that I have lower and lower expectation for Tet each year. And this year I was expecting it to be really boring and torturous where I have to meet people I don't want to meet and talk to people I don't want to talk. Well I did have to do some of that, but much less, because my parents somehow gave up on waking me up in the morning to greet their friends and take me to their friends' houses with them. Words cannot describe how grateful I am for that because I couldn't care less about the lucky money, really.

I got to hang out with my cousins and friends quite a lot, which is a good thing and did great to lift my mood. Because somehow during Tet, our family just quarrel more and for the tiniest reason possible.

I went to watch a movie with my cousins on the second day of Tet and the cinema was PACKED. It was understandable because there's only one cinema in my city. Still gave me quite a shock. We had to take the seats on row C, which was the third line from the screen.

On the third day I went visit my Highschool teachers with some old friends, which is a thing I haven't done in years. It was fun though, and we went to a restaurant after that.

Also my bestie is back for the holiday. I couldn't hang out with her much because I'm leaving for Hongkong tomorrow already, but she looks great and it was nice to see her yesterday.

This blog entry is pointless, I know. But I wanted to blog before my trip IDK. I'm now going to go pack and we'll leave early tomorrow. Expect a blog full of pictures in three days when I comeback, okay? And have a nice day!!!

So tomorrow is Lunar new year and things have pretty much gone crazy since yesterday. I'm not specifically fond of Tet but it's traditional and like, the bigest fest in the year. The best part of it was that I got to buy new clothes and other stuffs.

The thing is, I had an accident the other day and my right knee now is a mess. I wouldn't be able to wear any clothes other than shorts and dresses.

The picture above was taken before the accident so my legs were alright. The shirt is one of my favorite purchase before Christmas so I was wearing it a lot. And now I get to be stuck with it.

These clothes are gorgeous and I can't wait to wear them. Thing is, I'll be in Hongkong in five days and I heard that the weather is gonna be cold. Like, around 11 - 17 degree Celsius. So I'm gonna have to top these lovely clothes with coats and sweaters and scarfs and gloves. And that makes me so sad because I've bought this gorgeous piece

But well, I'll see into that later... I still have these Tet days to dress up and take pictures. Now I have my fingers crossed for everything to goes well the next few days. And happy Lunar new year everyone!!!

I stopped missing everyone

So I have officially become the worst blogger in the history of blogging that ever blogged, since I haven't blogged for more than a month. No big deal, I was just going crazy because of assignments and other stuffs.

First off, I moved house, which means tons of things to do. At least it's over because I'm so fed up with moving and cleaning and arranging things. The best part of it was that it had to happen when my schedule was completely packed. My shooting schedule had to be adjusted so many times so that I have time for moving and doing other assignments in the mean time.

On the other hand, our shooting process had gone smoothly. We wrapped up after 4 days at so many different locations. It was super fun and we learned a lot.

The outcome was not perfect. During the editing, we figured out a lot of things that could be improved, but they're all lessons learned and no hard feelings. I'll update the link to the movie when we finish uploading it.

Okay, I now have realized how random my blog is. But that's just how I roll, so you better deal with it. I still have one more exam before the Tet holiday and my semester break. I'll be traveling and watching lots of stuff so hope I'll have better things to blog about.

Oreo cheesecake my cousin made. A little bit overcooked, but she made it for me, so I was loving it all the same.

Some kind of cake with cheese in it? Lots of cheese, and it melts in your mouth. It was so good!

So, I'm not supposed to blog this week, but one of my deadline got extended and the other, well, I figured I would just leave it be. Good news is, my Web Programming A1 got HD marks (48/50). MISSION COMPLETED! And those are all my excuses for going out eating and hanging out with my homegirls today.

But then I did work before I go out to play. I finished the screenplay for our Video Production major project. My teammate is working on the storyboard and we'll finish our pre-production documentation next Tuesday. After that it's all shooting and editing. Gosh we haven't figured out the casting now that I recall :(

Today I worked on my 2D Drawing notebook. I was absent for two classes and I have to finish them now. Also I have to redo the pieces that are not so good and complete all the homework. I'll have to hand them for grading this Friday. Cue panic attack! Or not, well.

Tomorrow I'll start working on my screenplay for the major project of the Video Production Course. Also I MUST start drawing for the 2D sketchbook, like, right now. But I hate that course, so I'll just procrastinate until it's totally fucked up.

Christmas comes next week and I haven't got the chance to go shopping for any new clothes or shoes. I need new boots :( Also my skin had gotten slightly better the other day so I decided to wear make up yesterday and this morning, I then I woke up after my nap this afternoon, and MY SKIN IS BREAKING DOWN!!! Gosh what am I supposed to do it's holiday season and I can't wear make up??! *ugly sobbing* But well the good news is, the lipstick I bought the other day looks GORGEOUS, it's gonna be my favorite for a while, I can totally see that coming.

So, next week's gonna be crazy. I hope I can still survive to blog #collegesucks

You're just too good to be true

So, first thing first, I'm gonna start blogging again. I'm gonna be travelling a lot next year so hopefully I'll have more interesting things to blog about.

Secondly, Mom got me a new camera, Canon EOS 550D *dances* It has Full HD camcorder and is freaking brand new! The thing is, I was never serious when I mentioned that she could buy me a new camera when she was on her Japan trip. Well, but she did! My Mom rocks and is better than yours etc.

And last but not least, because it's the reason that I blog today, this week is kinda my pamper week after three crazy weeks of Video Production and Web Programming assignments. I went eating out and shopping today (although I kinda have been eating out everyday since forever because I don't have time to cook anymore) and it felt so good :( Can't believe I almost forgot how good it feels.

I kinda regret buying the lipstick now though consider how I never make-up these days anymore. But well, I just wanted to spoil myself a little bit. And soon enough I'll start make-up everyday again, true fact. I just need to wait until my skin gets better, maybe a month? I'm also too busy with school right now so, no big deal.

I keep telling myself to continue working on my sketchbook for 2D Design right now if I don't want to be totally fucked up in two weeks. But well, it's the awareness that counts. (Except not really! I know!!!)

April in Paris

So, today I was sitting on the floor in the library, and found a book about shop image graphics in Paris, written in English and Japanese. I don't know why but it makes me want to cry.

It has these beautiful illustrations it literally makes my heart beats fast.

And all the shops featured in the book are amazingly wonderful. How I love to wander them all someday.

It's nice to be a girl because all your upsets will be wiped away with just one night out for shopping and dinner ;)

The spaghetti was good, but that was a hell lot of a dish hahaha we couldn't manage to eat them all.

It was indeed a night of relief which I haven't had for so long. Things were fresh a again and everything will be eventually beautiful again and nothing will hurt anymore.
